Occupational centre

At TEB’s occupational centres we work to develop and keep up the skills of our users, fostering their personal and social autonomy. We do everything possible to help them to make decisions about the issues that affect them and work to help them improve their self-management ability.

The services are aimed at adults with intellectual disability and help to foster their inclusion in society. Two types of service are provided, depending on the intensity of the support involved.

• Occupational Therapy Service (STO)
  The activities organised have two basic purposes:
  1) Therapeutic occupation to acquire skills, habits and behaviours related to work and the work environment.
  2) Personal and social adjustment to improve personal skills and also relationships with those around them.
• Occupational Insertion Service (SOI)
  Pre-employment activities to help acquire or keep up work habits and professional know-how to help the person in question enter the world of work.
