Programme after programme, TEB Vist gives us excitement, smiles and also food for thought, as in the case of this special piece on inclusive schools, which raises many questions: what do we mean when we talk about inclusive schools? Is inclusion at school the same as inclusive schools? Are schools in this country ready to cater for children with special educational needs? Are enough resources assigned to ensure that different learning rates are allowed for?

To try to answer these questions, the TEB Vist team followed up the cases of Emma and Martí. Both have a severe disability and go to an ordinary school. They also interviewed the teacher and veteran champion of inclusive schools Josep Maria Jarque. And finally they went to an awareness-raising day in the Nou Barris neighbourhood of Barcelona, where pupils from local schools put themselves in the shoes of people with physical or mental disabilities.
