The Temporary Union of Companies (UTE) Sant Pau, owned in equal parts by TEB Verd and Urbacet, has won the public tender to maintain the gardens and green areas of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau from Barcelona until the year 2021. The assignment already provides full time work for a team of 10 gardeners, the majority of which with disabilities.

It is the first UTE of the region that constitutes and regulates as a Special Work Centre. Thus, unlike other UTE with different company forms, it guarantees that the majority of the workers come from collectives at risk of social exclusion.

The Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau is one of the most emblematic monuments of Barcelona. Projected at the beginning of the 20th century by the architect Lluís Domènech i Muntaner, it was declared as a Unesco World Heritage site the year 1997. Currently, it houses the headquarters of several international organizations, having moved its hospital operations to a newly built hospital in the same perimeter of the premises.
